Qaumi Movement commonly known as MQM, is a liberal
political party in Pakistan. . MQM has a strong hold in
Karachi, having traditionally been the leading political
force in the city. At the moment, it is the fourth
largest party in the National Assembly of Pakistan after
the Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan People’s Party
and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf. It is a liberal political
party founded in 1978 by Altaf Hussain.
